My wife and I traveled down to the Rose Garden on Thursday to experience Cirque du Soleil: Delerium. I say experience because they had music, but it wasn’t a concert, and there was some sembelance of a story, but it wasn’t a typical theatrical show; it was an interesting blend of everything.

Overall I’d have to day I really liked it, but I haven’t been to any of the other incarnations of Cirque du Soleil, so I don’t have much to compare it to. The music was pretty enjoyable, and even though it was live (and positioned directly in front of us since we had floor seats) it balanced well with the rest of the performance.

Long story short, Cirque du Soleil = good.
