So it took me a little longer than I anticipated to update my APOD Widget to be able to handle itself when/if the APOD site isn’t available, but it’s done! I feel a lot better now about distributing it out into the wild world of teh internets, so feel free to download it and give it a try. Any and all comments are greatly appreciated.

Thank you for this plugin! I ran into issues with it though, because my web host had disabled url file access. To get around this, I rewrote your widget to use cURL instead.
